Important Back-to-School Update for Davis Aerospace Families
While we wait for construction to be completed at our new school at Coleman A. Young International Airport, Davis Aerospace will temporarily begin the school year at the SAY Detroit Play Center.
Temporary location:
SAY Detroit Play Center
19320 Van Dyke Ave.
Detroit, MI 48234
School hours: 8:00 a.m.–3:20 p.m.
Student Drop-Off and Transportation
Families have two morning drop-off options:
- Drop students off directly at the SAY Detroit Play Center.
- Drop students off at Coleman A. Young International Airport for bus transportation to SAY Detroit.
Students taking the bus may arrive at the airport beginning at 7:00 a.m. Buses will leave promptly at 7:55 a.m. At the end of the school day, students taking the bus will be returned to the airport after the 3:20 p.m. dismissal bell.
Airport Bus Pick-Up Location
Families using bus transportation should drop students off at the location shown above.
Please arrive early enough for students to board before buses depart promptly at 7:55 a.m.
Breakfast
Breakfast will be available at the SAY Detroit Play Center beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Although we are starting the year in a temporary location, our team is ready to serve students, and we are excited to welcome everyone back to school!
